FAQ: ONLINE ORDERS & SHIPPING

**PRODUCTS MUST REMAIN FROZEN TO ENSURE FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY**



Orders placed will be delivered within 7 days of order being received (could be more during high periods of demand), with an expected delivery of 2 days after your order ships. You will receive an email notification once your order has shipped.
Orders are shipped Monday through Wednesday. Then, orders are delivered Wednesday through Friday (and Saturdays where FedEx residential delivery is available). If you’re planning a Tattooed Chef dinner for the weekend, make sure and place your order on Monday!
We ship via FedEx. Once we ship your order, you will receive an email with your tracking number so you can follow the progress of your order. You will receive 3 emails from Tattooed Chef, an order confirmation, a shipping notification and a delivery notification. We will be with you along the way!
Because Tattooed Chef is frozen and perishable, it's recommended that someone is home to receive your products. You must put all Tattooed Chef products in your freezer immediately.

Your order will arrive in an insulated container with dry ice to keep it frozen during transit. Instructions on how to safely handle and properly dispose of the dry ice will be included with your order. Make sure you read these!

The corrugated boxes can be recycled. The internal liner is made of 100% non-GMO, is 100% recyclable and is designed to ensure your product arrives safely. For tips on how to recycle, please visit www.greencellfoam.com/disposal
We pack our boxes with enough dry ice to keep contents frozen for several hours after delivery, but it's important to get them into a freezer as soon as possible. Please note that we can’t guarantee delivery of an order placed using a business address. If your package is delivered to a business that is closed, the courier will not deliver the package until the following business day, and your order may defrost.
You are not required to sign for deliveries.

Each box is carefully packaged to stay frozen until the time of delivery. You should always inspect your delivery to confirm that products arrive frozen. If at any time you believe that the product in your delivery is not suitable for consumption, contact us at order@tattooedchef.com.

Deliveries occasionally spend an extra day in transit. Your tracking information will be updated to reflect any delays.
We don’t want you to be bummed out so if you are dissatisfied for any reason, please contact us at order@tattooedchef.com within 24 hours of receiving your products. Depending on the circumstances, we will provide you a full or partial credit or refund of the purchase price for that item. We may require photographic documentation of any product with which you are dissatisfied before we provide you a replacement, credit or refund.

We ship perishable products that cannot be restocked or resold, we do not accept returns. Please do not attempt to return a box once it has been shipped.
The cost of shipping frozen goods, while convenient, can be pricey - the products are shipped via FedEx in a recyclable corrugated box, with enough dry-ice to compensate for the distance the goods have to travel to arrive to your home frozen. We offer free shipping on our bundles and on 10 item purchases.
We are unable to add to your order once the order has been placed.
We currently deliver to the continental United States. If you’re outside our delivery zone, please know we are working on it and we’ll let you know as soon as we do!
Currently we are unable to delivery to PO Boxes.

We love our vegan fans! We also believe a plant-based diet is something everyone can incorporate into their lives. That’s why some of our products are vegan, some of our products are vegetarian, but at the heart of everything we do – It’s PLANTS!

We ensure that our cheese is rBST free and vegetarian – meaning it doesn’t contain animal rennet. You can find a full list of our vegan products under the VEGAN drop-down menu on our website, TattooedChef.com
It means simple food ingredients derived from plants! We grow it, prepare it, freeze it and ship it with the simple goal of providing you with the best plant-based food anywhere.
Yes! But not all of our products are organic. Most of our ingredients come from Italy, where we contract the fields and plant our own crops. We handle the food from the fields to the consumer’s hands, offering a true farm to table product range. We work with trusted, experienced, and sustainable partners to ensure high quality, seasonal, ingredients are used for all of our products.
Yes! But not all of our products are gluten free. Our gluten free items go through intense Gluten testing per lot before it gets released to the public. In addition, we follow an intense allergen program including but not limited to swabbing, product changeover programs, and cleaning programs. We also CLEARLY MARK all our products, so you know exactly which items fit your dietary needs!
Tattooed Chef processes nuts in some of our products. We follow an intense allergen program including but not limited to swabbing, product changeover programs, and cleaning programs. We are extremely careful with how we handle ingredients, but if you are deathly allergic to nuts, avoid Tattooed Chef foods.

If a store listed is one that carries Tattooed Chef, please note that quantities and availability may vary due to market conditions. Please confirm inventory availability directly with the store for the most accurate information. We are working everyday with retailers across the country to introduce them to the Tattooed Chef brand, and are adding new retailers all the time.
